Getting started

A personal assistant for your day. You tell it what’s on your mind, and it turns the chaos into a clear plan — then keeps you moving through tasks, time, and money in one place.

No. Start by dumping a few things on your mind and Focus builds a plan around them. You can teach it your routine over time — it works from day one.

Yes. There’s a real Free plan, and while we’re in beta everything is free for everyone.

Planning & focus

Write or speak what you need to do. Focus reads it, sorts it by what matters, adds realistic times, and tells you what to start with — so you’re never staring at a list wondering where to begin.

A single-task timer for deep work. It follows you across the app and keeps running even when you switch pages, so checking your calendar doesn’t break your session.

Just tell it — “I woke up late” or “going out tonight” — and Focus reshuffles your day and keeps you on track.

Money

Spending, income, recurring bills, subscriptions, and savings goals. Focus surfaces payments before they’re late and shows where you stand — no spreadsheet needed.

Not yet. You add what you want to track, and Focus keeps it organized and ahead of due dates.

Account & privacy

You. There are no shared workspaces, no team view and no way for another user to see anything of yours. The one exception worth naming: when you use an AI feature — reading a syllabus, a brain dump, a note summary, the assistant — that text is sent to Anthropic to be processed. Nothing is sent unless you use one of those features. The privacy policy sets out exactly what goes where.

In transit, yes — the site is HTTPS only. At rest it sits in a managed Postgres database with disk encryption provided by the host, and your password is stored only as a salted hash that nobody can read back. What there is not: an independent security audit, a SOC 2 report or a penetration test. Those cost money this project does not have yet, and saying otherwise would be a lie.

Yes, and it is immediate. Settings → Account → Delete account asks for your password, makes you type DELETE, then erases every row you own and your login. There is no soft delete and no backup copy kept — which also means nobody can undo it for you.

Not from a button yet — that is being built. Email getfocusinmotion@gmail.com and you will get a machine-readable copy of everything held about you within 30 days.
